Review and Swatches: Catrice Rumble in the Jungle palette

I bought this Catrice palette long time ago and because it's going to be discontinued, it's about time, that I write a review about it. The palette is called Rumble in the Jungle and it contains acid green shimmery shade, dark green shimmery shade, golden shimmery shade and purple matt shade. As much as I know, this palette was part of limited edition collection few years ago (Papagena LE) and then last Spring they add it as a part of their regular assortment.

This palette is pretty, eyeshadows are good pigmented, easy to apply and blend, they don't crease. They do fade after few hours on lids. It's also not very unique palette - in my collection I can find similar shades to acid green, dark green and purple shade. But no mather that I still like it. My favourite eyeshadow is purple one, I mostly use this one from this palette. Bigger shadows have 2,5 g and little 1,5. The price is around 4 €, I don't remember exactly.

Here's a look I made with this palette a long long time ago, so I can't tell you much about it, sorry.

Do you own any Catrice palette? What do you think about this one, will you get it before it's gone? Thank you for reading.

Half Moon With A Twist

Hi, girls! Does it happen to you too, that you plan to publish something, but then you do something else and you like it so much, that you have to show it immediately? It happened to me today. I was planning to write a review for today, but in the end nail art won.

I had in mind for some time now, what I want to do with nail art set from Vintage District collection and I finally realized the idea. My idea was do to black and golden combination, but unfortunatelly I don't have polish in the exact same color as golden studs are. I think it would look even better in that case.

I did a half moon and then I placed golden studs on black. I was planning to do 5 studs on each nail, but these studs are actually pretty big (or my nails are little:P), so I just used 3. If I would use 3 on my pinkie and 5 on my middle finger, it wouldn't look that nice. I used She 230, random black polish and golden studs from Vintage District nail art kit for this manicure.

This manicure looked pretty amazing in person, it was so blingy. On photo it doesn't look so nice because of my light from lightbox (you can see it's reflex on my nails). This was just a try, I didn't do a whole manicure now, but I'll definitelly give it go, because I was very satisfied with it and it looked pretty.

What do you think about my golden-black half moon manicure? Would you wear something like this? Thank you for reading.

Once Upon A Time Series: Blue Fairy

Hi, girls! Today I'm continuing with my Once Upon A Time series. Yesterday I publishes OUAT nail art challenge, so if any of you wants to join, click here. Girls, that will join the challenge, will also cooperate in giveaway.

For today I decided to take as my inspiration Blue Fairy. This isn't a recreation of her look, by my creation, based on her name. She wears sparly blue dress with some pink in it, but in my look I decided not to use any pink.

First let me show you my nails. Yes, I also did nails. It's nothing hard, just simple gradient, but I wanted to do something sparkly to match Blue Fairy's look. I used Bourjois Bleu Water as a base and for gradient I used China Glaze Techno Teal, NYX Girls Under the Moon and Essence Glorious Aquarius.

And here is my Blue Fairy inspired makeup look. I went with bright colors and glitter on my lids, darker colors in my crease and with cornwflower color under my eyes.

Eye makeup from close. For the glitter I used She glittery eyeliner and I have to say even now after 9 hours is everything on place, not eyeshadows not liner didn't crease.

On my lips I decided to use nude lipstick, because eyes are very bold. I used Terra Naturi Magic Dream, which has a peachy undertone. On my cheaks I used peachy blush from Vintage District collection. I'm very satisfied with the look, it turned out better than I had in mind.

Products I used:
- Essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base
- MNY Maybelline 404A eyeshadow
- MUA Undressed palette (shade 12)
- Sleek Curacao palette (Blue Hawaiian)
- Sleek Ultra Matts V2 palette (Ink)
- Beauty UK Pastels (blue shade)
- Alverde Vanilla eyeshadow
- She Stylezone glitter eyeliner
- Misslyn 179 Cornflower intense color liner
- Essence Urban Messages Nightline eyeliner pen
- Essence I Love Extreme mascara

- Essence Eyebrow Stylish Set
- Essence Lash&Brow gel mascara

- Fleur de Sante anti-ageing make up primer
- Deborah BB cream Fair
- Essence Compact Powder Soft Beige
- Essence Blossoms etc... Multi Colour Powder Flower Power
- Essence Forget it! 3in1 concealer
- Essence Vintage District It's Popul-art blush

- Terra Naturi Magic Dream
- Isadora Water Melon jelly lipgloss

Blue Fairy look is all about glitter. Next 2 makeup looks I'll do, will be second looks of Ruby and Evil Queen. Both will be publishes next week. I also have one nail art prepared for this series and after that I'll probably end with nail art in this series because of the challenge. If you have any request, which makeup do you want me to do, let me know.

What do you think about this look, do you like it? Thank you for reading.

Once Upon A Time Nail Art Challenge + A Surprise

Hi, girls! Few days ago Gin Shivers suggest me to create a Once Upon A Time nail art challenge, because she thought many of you would join. I asked you, what do you think about the idea and some of you really liked it, so I created a short challenge. I think 9 challenges in one month is enough, specially because I know some of you have exams and you don't have so much time.

The tasks are:
Day 1: Storybrook/Enchanted forest on 2. Februar
Day 2: Favourite villain on 5. Februar
Day 3: Favourite female character on 8. Februar
Day 4: Favourite male character on 11. Februar
Day 5: True love's kiss on 14. Februar
Day 6: Magic comes with a price on 17. Februar
Day 7: Mirror mirror on the wall on 20. Februar
Day 8: The princess on 23. Februar
Day 9: Inspired by your favourite episode on 26. Februar

Tehniques, colors and everything else is your choise. You can do a free-hand nail art, stamping, you can use sticker ... What ever inspires you by a certain task.
We start on Saturday and I know, this is kinda quick, but I have a surprise for you. Because in Februar is my third Blogaversary and I don't want to do again a big giveaway, which is going to win someone, who is here only for the prize, I decided I'll rather do something else. I saw on some other blogs, that bloggers are doing a giveaway for the girls, who join their challenges and I think this is a good idea, so I'll try it myself too. There will be 2 small prizes, nothing big. One will go to the girl, who will do the best manicure by the readers choise and one will reward I - I'm going to choose my favourite manicure. In this giveaway will only participate those, who will join the challenge.

Prizes are:
- Prize 1: Essence Cooper'ize me, Catrice Forget-Me-Not! and Astor 136
- Prize 2: Essence Sunshine and Red Roses, Essence Night in Vegas and Astor 153

Prize 1: Favourite manicure by the choise of readers
Prize 2: My favourite manicure

For the prize 1: On 26. Februar the challenge ends, so you'll have time till 28. at midnight to send me the photo of your favourite manicure you did for this challenge (that means, you choose 1 from all 9 manicures and you cooperate with it) on my email Because every girls does 9 manicures and if there will be a lot of participant, there would be too many manicures, so I think 1 cooperating in giveaway for prize 1 is enough. On 1. March I'll publish all manicures I'll receive in one post and I'll also do a poll. Readers will have time till 5. March to vote for their favourite manicure. On 6. March both winner will be announced. In giveaway will only participate manicures I'll receive by email, so if you won't send your favourite manicure, you can't win prize 1.

For the prize 2: For this prize will participate all manicures, that you will do for this challenge. That means, I'll look at all 9 manicures of each participant and I'll choose my favourite one. But I'll definitelly look at the best idea and realization by my choise. Some probably think, why would she do that, but this is my kind of thank you to all of you, who will participate. But here is another catch - you have to do all 9 manicures till the end of Februar (that means till 28.) or I won't take you into consideration. I mean, that's fair to all the girls, who will finish this challenge on time.

If you have any question, please write them in a comment below or email me at English is not my native language, so I know, there can be some not clear things. Anyone can join, giveaway is also open international, so don't hesitate and join.

Feel free to share challenge on your blog, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest ...

If you want to join the challenge, please comment below and leave the url of your blog. I'll write the list of participants in the end of this post.

Random Sunday #15

Hi, girls! How are you today? I don't feel very well, I think I got a cold. I hope I'll feel better in the morning, I'm preparing some exciting things and also a lot of reviews on my blog in upcoming week.

My NOTD from the beginning of the week. Essence It's Peach Not Cherry + Essence More Than Words.

Getting ready to arrange some things on Monday.

Waiting for a bus. I noticed, that I have very very long hair. Love them, although I'm thinking to shorten them.

Bus ticket. I was driving with a bus after a long long time.

This week a gain 888 followers (love the number :D). Now there's already 890 of you. Thank you!

Slovenian ladies, Bioderma is giving samples for you skin type, so if you haven't order them yet, go on page and sing in (vpiši se). After 2 days you'll get samples by post delivery.

Our cat is trying to figure it out, how to came in the house through the window. The window was of course closed, because it's winter, so he didn't succeed. But he was so funny, climbing on the window and trying to get in.

The Huntsman inspired manicure and the wolf from the show, that was an inspiration for the wolf on my index finger.

Wearing my new wedge sneackers. They're so comfortable.

This week I tried marble manicure by this tutorial, but I wasn't satisfied with it. My nail polish stickers didn't want to stick on my nails, so I had to use top coat for that and the cleaning was also PITA. By Lee everything looked so easy, so I have to try again. I think I'll try to do it with other polishes and then I'll write a post about it.

My nail polish collection. I was organizing it this week, because I'll give few more polishes away (I have quite few dupes or similar shades). This week I'll probably photograph all polishes I have and I'll also made a list of them. I haven't updated nail polish collection list since last May and it changed a lot since then. Then in Februar (that will come soon) I'll do few separate posts to show you my collection. Do you want to see it by color or by brand? I'm thinking about showing it to you by color.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice week.

Essence Color&Go nail polishes

Essence is discontinuing products again this Spring, so I decided to write few reviews in next few days about the products, I have and are going out of sale. I'm going to start with new Color&Go polishes. I have them 15 till now.

I made swatches on a nail wheel. Some of them I already swatched on my nails and some I haven't swatched yet. Polishes, that will be discountinued, are: I Love Bad Boys, I'm Bleutiful and Boho Chic (from those I have).

Polishes are described as you see them on photos (from left to right), but swaches are made from right to left.

Off To Miami is a coral creme shade, with very nice application and opaque in 2 coats. I love this one.
Redvolution is a bloody red creme shade, that also has nice application and it's opaque in 2 coats on my nails.
I'm So Very is one of my favourite red polishes - it's kinda orangy red creamy shade. It also easy to apply and I needed 2 coats, when I wore it.
Gorgoues Bling Bling is a dusty orangy shade with golden flecks and orange shimmer. Because of the flecks it has a bit more tricky application, but it's opaque in 2 coats on my nails. This one is really pretty.
Boho Chic is very similar to Gorgeous Bling Bling - it's peachy shade with golden flecks. Application is the same as by Gorgeous Bling Bling. This one will be discontinued, so I suggest you that you get it, while you still have a chance (if you like it). To me this is very pretty shade.

I Love Bad Boys is a dusty bright blue shade with blue shimmer. This one will also be discontinued. I don't like, how it looks on me, I think I'll give it away.
Let's Get Lost is a bright blue creme shade. I haven't wore this one yet, so I can't tell you about application and opacity.
The Boy Next Door is a dark blue cream shade, with good application and opaque in 2 coats. It's very pretty blue shade.
I'm Bleutiful is a dusty purple shade with silver flecks. I also haven't wore this one yet, but in the bottle it looks amazing, so I suggest you to get it, before it's gone, because it's going to be discontinued.
Stuck On You is a darker purple shade with silver shimmer. This one is also one of my untrieds.

Oh My Gliter is bright lilac shade with pink and blue shimmer. It has nice application and it's also opaque in 2 coats.
Chic Reloaded is a duochrome shade, that goes from dark purple to green and grey. Can you believe I haven't wore it yet?
I'm The Boss is a grey shade with silver shimmer and duochrome flecks. This description is based on what I see in the bottle, because I still haven't wore it yet. Yes, I have a lot of untried polishes. :(
Walk On The Wild Side is my favourite from all new Color&Go polishes. It's dark forest green shade with many green shimmer. It's just amazing. Application is good and on me it's opaque in 2 coats. A must have, if you aks me.
Love's Recipe is a beige shade with a lot of beige flecks. I got this one, so I can use it as a base for my nail art's or stamping. But I still haven't use it yet. I have to change this soon.

What do you think about new Essence Color&Go polish, do you have any? Which one is your favourite? Thank you for reading.

Once Upon A Time Series: Evil Queen (Makeup)

Hi, girls! I finally did Evil Queen's look. This should actually be a recreation of this look, but in the end it came out totally different, so I'll rather say it's inspired by Evil Queen. I used dark purple pigment in my outer V and under my eyes, but it looks so bright on the photos. It would probaby be better, if I would use black eyeshadow here. She always wears dark and bold colors. Mine came out too bright. Oh, well.

Eye look from close. Warning - I used fake eyelashes. They don't look good at all, because this is my second try in a life to apply fake eyelashes. But I thought this look deserves fake lashes, because she wears them on photo - they're very long and dense.

Although I'm planning to do another of her looks too, I'll re-do this one and I'll try to do it more similar to this - that means darker. I went through episodes again and I saw, she wear a lot of different looks. They're all dark, bold, they include purple eyeshadow and sometimes also white. She is really an inspirational character.

Products I used:
- Essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base
- Beauty UK Day&Night
- Essence Alice Had A Vision - Again pigment
- MNY 533 eyeshadow
- Essence I Love Style liquid eyeliner
- Eveline Liquid Precision eyeliner 2000 Procent Black
- Catrice black kajal eye pencil
- Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Definiton mascara Max Black
- Baci Natural Look false eyelashes 690

- Revlon matte Rich Sable eyeshadow
- Essence Lash&Brow gel mascara

- Deborah BB cream Fair
- Essence Compact Powder Soft Beige
- Essence Blossoms etc... Multi Colour Powder Flower Power
- Essence Forget it! 3in1 concealer
- Essence Vampire's Love Bloody Mary blush

- H&M berry lipstick
- Essence Vampire's Love True Love lipstain

Although it's not a recreation as it should be, do you think this is an Evil Queen's look? Do you like it? Thank you for reading.

Btw, gin shivers asked me to do an OUAT nail art challenge. What do you think about this idea, would you join?
