Catrice In The Bronx

I haven't posted for some time now. Sorry for that, but I have some stressful days behind me. I hope, next will be better.
First, some info about Black&White Nail Challenge. On Sunday I should post water marble manicure. I did one, but it was total fail, so I won't post it. I wanted to do another one, but then one of my nail broke and now they're very short. This means, I won't finish this challenge at this point. But I will, when my nails grow a bit.
Today I have for you one old swatch. It's Catrice In The Bronx, golden-brown shimmery shade. I actually like it very much. Here I used 2 coats. Unfortunately this shade is discounted, so you can't get it anymore.

Day 8: Sponging

It's already day 8. The time is passing by so fast. The theme od this day is sponging. I had so many ideas for this manicure, but in the end to little time, so I did just random black and white combo. I think it needs some upgrade, but it's good that way too.

I prefer Twitter lately, Facebook is getting very boring to me.

These are my answers on their questions. I know, I probably bore you with these kind of posts, but today I wasn't in the mood to write about nail polishes and I still own them answers, so I decided to write about that.

Day 7: Black&White With Glitters

Today is already day 7 of nail art challenge and the theme is black and white with glitters. I didn't have any special idea, so I did some random combinations with black and white. I used both polishes from Essence TE Black&White Black Out and White Hype. Then I added one coat of Essence Blair over it. I think, it doesn't look that bad. What do you think?

Review And Swatches: Season Of Extremes TE

This week I found full display od Essence Season Of Extreme TE in Müller. In this TE are 8 regular polishes and 6 duo polishes. I was excited about this collection, but in the end disappointed, because nothing seemed really unique to me. In the end I took 4 regular polishes and 1 duo.

But first I must warn you, my nails are pretty short and my cuticles in a bad condition. My job is killing both. They broke every week, so they're shorter and shorter. On the second day of job I broke 5 nails. After I finish Black&White nail challenge, I probably won't do swatches for some time, because I'll do some treatement to them to make them stronger. I have to say, I miss very much my long nails.

It's Two Bright
The only duo polish, I got. I actually took it because of a jellow part, but when you layer it over another polish, is totally disappointement. Yellow base isn't visible anymore, visible is only pink shimmer, that's in it. Some of you will probably like that, but for me it would be better, if yellow base would be visible too. It would gave totally different anf interesting effect than now. Blue part is very nice, polish is good pigmented and it applys nice. For this swatch I used two coats of blue polish, two coats of yellow polish and one coat of yellow polish over two coats of blue polish.

On The Bright Side is a neon orange shade. It dries satin, as most neon colors. Here I used three coats. I don't know why, but it looks like my camera hates neon colors. This one is so much vibrat in RL, on this swatch it looks a bit wash out.

Little Miss Bright is a purple jelly shade. This one also drys satin and looks a bit wash out on swatches. Imagine it more vibrant in RL. For this one I had to use 4 coats to make it opaque and look even. Otherwise application of these two shades was very nice.

Nude Or What is a greyish lilac shade. Application was a bit trick, but easier as with mint shade. Here I used two coats. This is very lovely shade

Did someone say nude? is a mint shade. The application was a bit tricky. Here I used 3 coats, but it still doesn't look even. Probably is also my guilt, because I wasn't careful enough, but I noticed that today, when I was editing photos. In RL wasn't that visible. But TC would fix that. This is going to be one of my favourite shades for spring, mints are always in.

Did you get or will you get anything from this collection? What do you think about it?

Day 5 And Day 6 Together

As promised today I have two manicures for Black&White nail challenge, but this post will ne quick, because I have a headache and I need to go to sleep.

Day 5: Color Base With Black
First I wanted to do some konad, but I totally failed, so I did some nail art. I didn't have any special attention, I just draw something on my nails and that came out. As a base I used Catherine Arley 668. Black polishes are Barry M Crackle nail polish, Vollare 126 and Essence Black&White Black Out.

Day 6: Color Base With White
And this is manicure for today's challenge. I really don't have a lot of ideas lately, so I did some random dots.  As a base I used Sparitual Dreams Becoming Reality adn I draw dots with Essence Black&White White Hype.

Orly It's Not Rocket Science

Today I have for you Orly It's Not Rocket Science, that I got in a swap with Amber. It was part of Cosmic  FX collection in 2010. It's a grassy green base with green and gold speckles. I'm very bad in describing colors lately, but you can see on photo, how does it look like. This polish is pretty sheer, I used 3 coats, but on last photo I see I could use another one. Otherwise application was great. I remember there was a time, when I hated colors like this and I would never wear them, but now more is the polish color away from classical, more I like it. I'm kind of tired of classical colors. I adore this one. Just look, how beautiful it is. What do you think?

Outside, sun.
Indoors.
Outside, shadow.

Day 5 Apology and Iced Eyes Baby

Today is Day 5 of our Black&White Nail Challenge, which theme is color base with something black. Can you imagine, that I had the most problems with this maniure until now? First I wanted to do some konad, but it was totally fail, so I removed it. Then I did some nail art. I wasn't the most satisfied, but also wasn't in the mood and didn't have time for another manicure, so I took photos of it. And then another problem. I did this on Sunday, because I didn't knew, if I'll have time this week. I took my camera with me in Ljubljana, so I will be able to publish it, but I forgot cable at home, so I wasn't able to transfer photos on my computer. I'm so angry at myself because of that. I'm s forgetful lately. But I promise, I'll show you day 5 and day 6 manicures together on Friday, when I'll come home.

But today I do have one polish for you. It's Iced Eyes Baby from Essence Crystalliced TE collection. This was the only polish from this collection, that interested me. It's beautiful pastel blue with shimmer. Application was ok, but I needed three coats to make it look even. I think it's very beautiful and I love wearing it. Do you have it? What do you think about it?

And in the end I have one request for you. I decided to join theBalm Spring contests on Facebook. The prize is 10 Hit Ticket polishes. I would be very grateful, if you would go on their page and click "like" under my photo. You can find it here: My photo. Thank you very much for all your votes. :)

Swap With Nina From Women's Temptation

Some time ago I contacted Nina from Women's Temptation, if she is willing to do a swap with me, because I wanted to get some Catherine Arley holos. She lives in Bulgaria and she has access to them. She said yes and on Friday my package arrived. I was so happy, when I came gome from Ljubljana and found package on my bed. I opened it immediately and these beauties were in. They look so beautiful in RL. She also send me one extra (923) and a chocolate, but I ate it before I took a photo and it was very jummy.

Catherine Arley 668
Catherine Arley 676
Catherine Arley 667
Catherne Arley 673
Catherine Arley 800
Catherine Arley 923 (not holo)

I'm so excited to try all these, but I'll probably show them on my blog in the summer, when the sun will be strong and their holo effect will express more.

Day 4: White Base With Some Color

It's already day 4 and the theme of this day is white base with some color. I wanted to do some colorful dots on black base, but I think I totally failed. These dots just don't work for me. As a base I used H&M Pure White. I made dots with China Glaze Aquadelic, China Glaze Electro Beat, Claire's 96784, Essence Bloom-A-Loom, Catrice Put Lavender On Agenda. In the end I added Essence Feel So Good (Love TC) to add some shimmer to it. It looks better with it, but I still don't like it. What do you think?

Essence A Lovely Secret

Today I have for you something very beautiful. It's Essence A Lovely Secret, from their new assortment. For me is this polish hard to describe - it's blurple with multicolored glitter. Application was great. I used two coats. How do you like this one? Do you have it?

Day 3: Black Base With Some Color

The theme of the third day is black base with some color. I decided to combine black and red. I did different patterns on each nail. Black polish is Essence My Sparkling Acrobat.
Pinkie - I draw a flower. I used Orly Retro Red and Deborah Milano Yellow Fiz.
Ring finger - I decided for red glitters. I used Essence Applause, Applause.
Middle finger - I draw a red line on the middle of finger and then did black dots on it. Red polish is Essence Applause, Applause.
Index finger - I decided for simple lines. I used Orly Retro Red.

Review: Travalo

Today I have for you a review. I'm reviewing Travalo, a product that I think you girls gonna love. If you're one of the girls, that likes to wear perfumes with you in your purse to smell nice all day, this is a product for you.

Travalo is a refillable perfume atomizer. It's very easy to use and when is full, you can use it for 50 or 65 sprays, depends on which Travalo you have. There are two types of Travalo: Travalo Classic and Travalo Excel. Travalo Classic is  8 cm long and weighs 13 g, so it's suitable for any purse, big or small, and it's not heays like perfumes are. Travalo Excel is 8,6 cm long and weighs 20 g. It cames in 10 different colors. 98% of Travalo's components are totally recyclable. It's made from the same aluminium material as high tech aircraft, which makes it extremely light and strong. Travalo contains no glass parts at all, so there aren't any worries about risking breakage.

I received Travalo Excel in golden color.

How do you refill Travalo? First remove a spray head from perfume. Then add Travalo on perfume, pump it up and down until it's not full. Important thing to remember are two:
1. Refill it on flat surface. If you refilled it with the bottle in the hand, you can make the simple process look very awkward.
2. Refill it with Travalo lid on, because it's easier to refill that way.
By side it has clear window, where you can see, how many product is in it.

Here's also a video, that shows you, how to refill it.

You can order the product on their site http://www.travalo.com. Also check their FB page, where they have daily giveaways.

*This product was sent to me for review. For more informations check my Disclosure Policy.

Day 2: White on Black

The theme of the second day of White&Black Nail Challenge is white on black. I didn't have any good idea for this day. I already had black polish on and I still didn't know, what to do. And then it clicked me - what if I will do a tuxedo. It's not an original idea, but it's great for todays challenge. Polishes, I used, were Essence MY Sparkling Acrobat (black), Essence Black&White White Hype and Vollare 117.

Day 1: Black on White

Yesterday I already told you, that I joined to Black& White Nail Challenge. The theme of day 1 is Black on white. I decided for simple nail art. As a base I used white polish from Beauty Uk Urban Girl set. Then I used Vollare 136 to draw a line for black tips and filled them with Essence Black Out from Black&White TE. I also used Essence polish for dots.

I usually don't wear black and white on my nails, but I did heared some good responses from girls, that liked my manicure, so I think joining to this challenge was a great idea.

Here is the list of other girls, that participate. I very curious, what their manicures will be:
