Review: Essence 24h Hand Protection Balm Apple Cinnamon Punch Winter Edition + Small Giveaway

Last winter Essence released 3 Winted Edition hand balms with interesting smells and this year they did it again. This year the theme is Hot Winter Drinks and they released balms in Caramel Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Chai Latte and Apple Cinnamon Punch. I smelled all 3 balms and the yellow (Gingerbread Chai Latte) stinks horibble, brown (Caramel Hot Chocolate) doesn't have a bad smell, but the red one (Apple Cinnamon Punch) smells amazing. So yeah, I recommend you to get the red one and stay away from others too (except if you like their smell).

I asked on Facebook, if you want me to do a review of this balm and I got positive feedback, so I'm doing it. But it's my first review of hand cream, so I hope, I'll tell you all information, you need to know.

What Essence says about this scent: "The scent of the spicy, fruity punch version with apple and cinnamon creates a real christmas market atmosphere. guaranteed to be alcohol-free, this 24 hour hand protection balm pampers your senses and is this winter season’s ultimate must-have care product. Valuable ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter give your hands the care they need and provide plenty of moisture while the tried and tested 24 hour formula ensures continuous protection. With essence, rough, chapped hands are a thing of the past." (vir)

The packaging is a tube with a plastic lid. A dosage is very easy, because you can easly squeeze out of the tube needed amount of product too mousturize your hands. The smells is very pleasant, it's not too strong and it smells like a cinnamon. I remember that the balms from last year had a very strong smell. Here is a list of indigredients. I don't know them very good, because I don't have proper education, but it can help you, if you understand these things more.

The balm is white and more dense (I use a lot hand lotion, which have more watery consistency). After  application the balm absorbs pretty fast in a skin and it leaves such a silky feeling. It makes my hands very soft and it mousturizes them great. But if you have very dry skin, it maybe won't be enough mousturizing for you. For me it works great.

Essence 24h Hand Protection Balm contains 75 ml/2,53 fl of product and it costs 1,39 €. Pretty good deal, if you ask me.

Because I really love this hand cream, I decided to give one away. The giveaway is open international and it will be open for one week. I'll contact the winner and she'll have 48 hours to replay or I'll choose another winner. Good luck!
